The CallButton is a compact WLAN device with pushbutton and display (display 4x20 characters and signalling lamp / LED) for communication with a host system via HTTP or via a proprietary TCP/IP protocol.
The Call Button contains an 8-bit micro controller and a WLAN module (802.11b/g compatible). Due to its built-in battery and its rigorous power-saving technology, the device can be operated for more than 5 years without maintenance. On location, neither power supply nor network cable is required.

FAQQ: What is the main use of the CallButton? A: The VOCO-Call Button is used in assembly areas in order to promote smooth production. If a worker in the production line needs fresh supply of material, he can send a WLAN request to the server by the push of a button on the VOCO. This triggers a transportation order to the forklifts.
Q: Can I also use external devices for signal control? A: Yes. For example the serial interface can be used to connect a barcode scanner. The material request of the worker can also be processed by scanning the corresponding barcode.
